Main ship updated, bug fixes and corrections


This release of Fasteroids has a brand new main ship. As many of you know I haven't been satisfied with the simple Asteroids-like ship. After several false starts I have something that I'm starting to like. It's still likely to change in the future, but it's closer to something I'm happy with. I based the outline of the ship off the Russian SU-57 fighter.

The colouring of the ship is something I'm not quite happy with. I started with something lighter, but I was concerned it looked too random. The current ship markings are loosely based on markings I've seen on other aircraft. Over the next few weeks I'll probably post several other designs on my Twitter account @chaslinux for  comment.

This release also gets closer to fixing the "invincibility bug" that has plagued a few versions of Fasteroids. There's still a bug, but I noticed this afternoon that my ship sailed over an asteroid as it should have during the invincibility period.

I also fixed a spelling mistake, and dropped Easy mode for Normal, Expert, Pro.

This release was compiled with GameMaker Studio 2.3.
