Fasteroids 2.38 updated for future resolution changes
The first new release in a very long time is a major change to Fasteroids. The last release default resolution for Fasteroids was 1024x768, 2.38 reduces the resolution down to 640x360. The reason for the change is forward-looking. The plan is to scale up for several 16:9 resolutions, rather than the single resolution. Many of the menu backgrounds were removed because of this resolution adjustment.
Autofire was also removed from the default behaviour - it was making the game far to easy, and glitchy.
I have a laundry list of changes and fixes, and realize this change may have introduced several bugs/artifacts, which should get fixed shortly. I have some time off work coming soon, so expect further development more often in the next coming days.

I forgot to mention the Linux version is now an AppImage... a pretty major change!
